The Kodagu District Branch of the National Integrated Medical Association celebrated the Amrita Jubilee celebration by distributing medicinal herbs such as simaruba (laxmi), Karanja and Jumbo to the Police Department on June 1. District Police Sgt. P. Captain Ayyappa hoped to grow these at various stations. Dr Rajaram, President of Nima Kodagu and Dr. Udaya Shankar, Women’s Division Secretary Soumya Ganaraj and other officers were present.
A color painting competition was organized for the children of Madikeri’s children on ‘Let the tree grow for the survival of our dreams’.
District Health Officer Renuka gave the information. The program was organized by the Nima Women’s Division. Soumya Ganaraj distributed sanitary pads.
