Nima day, 13 April 2022 was celebrated today, with flare and enthusiasm.
President Dr Sanjay Londhe got the office decorated with flowers and necessary arrangements.
Stalwarts, seniors like Dr D G Kadam , Dr Sumant Pandya , Dr Kulkarni and about 55 to 60 other doctors were present for ocassion.
The session commenced with the poojan of Shri Dhanvantari dev , lighting the auspicious diva and offering flowers. Shri Dhanvantari stotram was recited.
Dr Darshana Sharma welcomed all and requested Dr D G Kadam to speak a few words about the NIMA organization.
Dr Kadam spoke about the glorious era of Ayurveda, the reasons for its abasement, and that how once again Ayurveda has come to rise and has been helping in the health care of people worldwide. He also informed how the ‘integrated medical practice’ term was coined.
Dr Kadam also narrated how stalwarts like Dr Awasthi, Dr Kinjawdekar, Dr Nagral, Dr Raut, and others formed the Mumbai Nima branch, and since then there have been regular activities conducted by the branch.
Dr Sanjay Londhe briefed the doctors about NIMA AMRUT MOHOTSAV and the various events and activities, to be done throughout the year.
Dr Sanjay also motivated our Nima members to enroll new members.
Our chief guest Dr Shubha Raul who is also our Nima member, shared how happy she was to be a part of the ‘Amrut Mohotsavi Nima day’ celebrations, and wished Nima more and more sucess in the years to come.
This was followed by the CME session.
Dr Pradnya Chougule introduced the speakers for the day.
Oncologists spoke to the doctors present, shared updates, and ended with the question and answer phase.
The day was concluded by Dr Asavari Dubhashi with a vote of thanks for the speakers and and all the doctors present.
Delicious snack trays with hot beverages were served to all those present.
